This project transforms the entrance of a municipal sports center through the design of a continuous, accessible ramp integrated into a landscaped garden. The intervention addresses both functional accessibility requirements and the creation of a welcoming civic threshold.

Rather than treating the ramp as a purely technical element, the project conceives it as a spatial promenade. Its gently curved geometry guides visitors from street level toward the main entrance, offering a gradual sequence of perspectives and reinforcing the sense of arrival. The path is designed to be fully inclusive, ensuring universal accessibility while maintaining spatial quality.

Landscape plays a fundamental role in the project of the entrance of the sport hall of Castelldefels. Native and low-maintenance vegetation accompanies the route, softening the built edges and creating seasonal variation. Existing trees are preserved and incorporated into the composition, providing shade and reinforcing the relationship between architecture and site. The planting strategy contributes to environmental comfort while establishing a clear identity for the entrance area.

Material choices are deliberately restrained and durable. Exposed concrete paving, galvanized steel handrails, and simple lighting elements define a robust yet understated palette appropriate for intensive public use. The architectural canopy and perforated metal elements of the existing building are complemented by the horizontal continuity of the ramp, reinforcing coherence between building and landscape.

The project demonstrates how a modest infrastructural element can become an opportunity for architectural and urban improvement: enhancing accessibility, strengthening identity, and transforming circulation into a meaningful spatial experience.
