This project involves the renovation of a small residential building in Gracia, consisting of three apartments. The design was guided by three key objectives: to establish a stronger connection between the apartments and the central patio, to renovate the existing staircase, and to ensure that all rooms are naturally ventilated.

To achieve these goals, the main entrance was relocated, which not only improved circulation but also reinforced the relationship between the apartments and the shared patio. Internally, all non-structural walls were removed, leaving only the essential apartment rooms, allowing light and air to flow freely throughout the spaces. This intervention ensured that every room receives natural ventilation while creating more open, flexible interiors. A sense of material continuity unifies the building, with grey tiles extending across the common areas, patios, and terraces. This choice enhances the visual connection between indoor and outdoor spaces while providing a cohesive, understated palette that complements the urban character of Gracia.

The result is a small but thoughtfully reimagined building that balances functionality, comfort, and a seamless relationship with its outdoor spaces.
